When I first saw Nikki McClure's work I thought, 'What beautiful lino prints'. This was at a speciality book shop, Land, that features printmakers and artists who work on paper. They were selling her post cards.
Today, I got to see her work in person at the Museum of Contemporary Craft and to my surprise her work isn’t printed at all but completely made from paper cuts!

pictures of her work space
Her work looks completely different in person. She strategically glues down particular areas so that the image seems three dimensional. She is so inspiring!
