I’m not sure about overseas events. Stateside, SGC International is the biggest annual print conference. It takes place next year March 20-23 in Milwaukee. This is a fun one to check out

The biennial MAPC (Mid America Print Council) Conference is Nov 1-3, 2012 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri

IMPACT 8, the 8th biennial International Multidisciplinary Printmaking Conference, is being hosted at the University of Dundee in Scotland Aug 28-Sept 1

Print Week in NYC is Oct 29-Nov 4, I’m super curious about this one

book arts:

Codex IV bookfair and symposium, Feb 10- 13 in Berkeley, California

CBAA College Book Art Association will host a 2013 conference, not sure on details yet 

papermaking:

Watermarks 2012 conference will host lectures and workshops on hand papermaking. Oct 17-20 2012 in Cleveland, Ohio. 

I’m sure there are other awesome conferences (if anyone would like to share a few:) If you are in the Philippines maybe get in contact with Hardin ng Kalikasan. I recently met an MFA grad who was able to work at a papermaking mill in Quezon Province through them.
