Kind of reminds me of orcs tearing through their skin as they’re being created in Mordor…
Uh, either way, the process is a strange combination of violence and creation. Clusters of dry pigment are being crushed and dispersed into the oil base as the mixture runs between the rolls. I don’t know why, but Cadmium Red seems to rip apart the most dramatically.
